The loyalty factor stays high, even though we have yet to see any serious evidence of new, experienced blood being brought in. Nice one fellow Dandies, the future must be RED.

Pretty conclusive result but doubless the SPL will ignore their market and keep this farce going.

1.) Don't see a difference one way or another. = 7 (12%)

Surely the club should respond to this weight of opinion and find a package that can save punters the bother of making special arrangements to get tickets for sertain matches? Will they? doubt it.



1.) Yes - I don't want the hassle of ordering up tickets for home games. = 30 (58%)

22: Should Stewart Milne step down from the Chairmanship of AFC?

Not too popular with the fans then, is he? Oor stewartie would be well advised to take a long hard look at himself and the way he's handling things at Pittodrie and put the Club before his own agenda.

1.) No - He's the only thing between us and going bust. = 9 (12%)

21: Should Scottish football change to playing in summer?

The majority is big enough here to suggest that the SFA, SFL & SPL should take a serious look at this one.

1.) Yes - Let's get away from this fixtures chaos. = 47 (55%)
2.) No - Stick with tradition. = 21 (24%)

20: Should the Dons get tough or keep playing fair?

Sticking right with the Aberdeen tradition, we mostly want the best of both worlds with hard but fair. Maybe with the emphasis on hard.

1.) Play fair and win a Euro spot. = 4 (9%)
2.) Get stuck in and win us more points. = 16 (36%)
3.) Hard but fair could see us win the fair play and move up the SPL. = 24 (55%)

Cautiously optimistic sums it up for this one and only one Livingston fan voted - not too bad really. We'll find out how good your judgement is on the 17th

Friendlies - unpopular or what? Time for the Club to rethink the concept if this poll is anything to go by.

1.) Hate them - they should be played behind closed doors or not at all. 7 (12%)

16: Should the Dons move to a new stadium or rebuild Pittodrie?

This has brought the biggest response to one of our polls so far. There's a definite preference to stay at Pittodrie but not utterly conclusive. The most significant finding is that nobody wants to leave it to the board to decide.

1.) Stay where we've always played and bring it up to date. 31 (37%)
2.) Move to a new place that's built for the 21st century. 21 (25%)
3.) Would like to move but don't see the economic sense. 11 (13%)
4.) Would like to stay at Todder but it's getting too hemmed in by houses. 15 (18%)
5.) I don't know, leave it to the board. 0 (0%

6.) I don't know, let all the fans vote on it. 5 (6%)

15: How do you think we'll do against Alloa?

Generally optimistic with a hint of caution and a dash of bravado.

1.) We'll murder them! = 5 (16%)
2.) Tricky tie, we'll beat them but it'll be tough going. = 15 (48%)
3.) Could be a draw and we'll take them at Pittodrie. = 8 (26%)
4.) Very dangerous. Could be Stenhousemuir all over again. = 3 (10%)

14: Do you fancy having Fergie in charge of AFC?

A slight edge in favour of the idea but hardly overwhelming.

1.) Yes - he knows how to build a successful club. = 15 (47%)
2.) No - he's had his glory days, time to move on. = 10 (31%)

Not too conclusive this one, but the weather looks okay so far.

Thirty seven people voted and 31 of them though Eoin did a bad thing. Shot himself in the foot really.

1.) Yes, he is only speaking the truth. = 6 (16%)
2.) N0, he damaged team morale and should have kept quiet. = 31 (84%)

73 votes cast and most of them keen for a standing area. let's hope the Pittodrie powers take serious note of this and put it out for wider discussion when they are consulting on Pittodrie's future.

9: Would the Club get a better performance from players by paying them according to performance and results?

This poll was pretty decisive with a huge majority reckoning that players need to have less money up front to give them the incentive to work harder at picking up the fruits of success.

1.) Yes, they get paid too much basic and need more incentive to do well. = 31 (69%)
2.) No, they will play the same no matter how they are paid, = 3 (7%)
3.) Not sure, different players might react in different ways. = 11 (24%)

8: Should Mike McCurry be kicked out of refereeing?

The condemnation of this Glasgow referee was overwhelming, the guy should be oot the game. Half a dozen huns apparently voted in his favour - can't think why that would be...

Looks like Ebbe's still safe as far as the fans are concerned. He got a lot of positive support although some felt he needs to dig deeper but more felt that AFC have to dig deeper - tricky though that might be.

Out of 47 votes, the main sentiment was positive but there was a fair bit of caution too. We wonder who the 2 voters were on the 2nd option? Let's hope these guys deliver.

Fifty two voters tackled this and the consensus seems to be that we'd be happy to look for players inside Scotland preferably in the lower part of the senior leagues. The main thing is we need to get on with it.

1.) Lower reaches of the Scottish league. = 17 ( 33%)

We didn't pick one to tickle people's fancy here. Only 48 voted and the majority were intent on leaving Ebbe to decide. Fair enough.

2: Will Paul Bernard's departure weaken the Dons' squad?

This question drew more responses than the first one, 95 in all. It doesn't look too god for Bernard's CV because people clearly didn't feel he was of any great importance to us. The votes were:

2) maybe a smidgen = 42 (44%)

We got 68 votes in this first poll and it is clear that people have confidence in the Young reds but feel that they need experienced help to get the team through this tough season. The actual votes cast were:
